Our Kenyan beaded dog collars are lovingly handcrafted by skilled artisans in the Maasai Mara, Kenya, using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. Each collar takes approximately two days to create, with every glass bead carefully placed by hand to form vibrant, intricate patterns inspired by the rich culture and heritage of the Maasai people.

Crafted from premium cowhide leather and finished with durable, recycled brass hardware that is rust-resistant, these collars are designed to be as strong as they are beautiful. To measure your dog's neck for a collar, use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it snugly around the base of their neck where the collar will naturally sit. Ensure you can comfortably slip one to two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck for a proper fit. If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string and then measure the string with a ruler to find the size. Then use our size guide to figure out their perfect fit

Keep your collar looking as striking as the day you got it with a little easy care. Gently wipe the leather with a damp cloth to remove any dirt and keep it fresh, or treat it to a leather cleaner and conditioner for extra nourishment. Bring back that beautiful golden glow by polishing the brass hardware with a brass cleaner, and lightly brush the beads with a soft-bristled brush to keep them bright and eye-catching. A little love goes a long way in keeping your collar looking bold, beautiful, and ready to turn heads.
